Help!! My cPanel is misbehaving, I get this perl warnings all the time

jennyjenny Posts: 50

Whenever I try to use ssh on my cPanel, here is what I normally see:

    perl: warning: Setting locale failed.
    perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings:
        LANGUAGE = (unset),
        LC_ALL = (unset),
        LANG = "en_US.UTF-8"
    are supported and installed on your system.
    perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C").

How do I solve it?

    This is a very common indeed, last time I faced this on centos, I did the following:

    $ nano /etc/environment
    Then i inserted the lines:
    Saved and restarted my shell and that was it. Let me know if this does not work for you, there are other methods to try.

    But please make sure you tell us the type of O/S on your server so that we can better help you out.

    It appears to work for me, I appreciate this. The error is no more, thumbs up.
    I used it on centos 6/read-hat and it works too.
