Facing Problem on my Pc thou i as the 1 who caused it. This his what really Happened.

was using window 7 then i decided to run Ubuntu.. i install it so my computer was running 2 OS window 7 and Ubuntu..

after some months i decided to change my window 7 to 8, so i logon to my Ubuntu and delete window 7 folders and all the files on it.  so i started the window 8 installation process, i used different partition for it which was 200gb and the Ubuntu was on 100gb..

the problem here his that after the installation i couldn't  find my Ubuntu again, the window 8 use to run immediately i turn on the pc.

am very sure the ubuntu his still on the hard disk just that i cant locate it... Reason why i said that, the total size of my hard drive his 320gb and now it showing 202gb.

You need to visit your control panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management
You should be able to see your ubuntu partitions there.

Try running Windows startup repair and see if that reinstalls the bootloader

This similar issue happened to my friend, what he did to solve this was to open up the pc so as to remove and re-insert the cmos battery
