Quick Suggestion: The marketing team of Africoders needs to find innovative strategies to attract active and nice 'contributors' to this portal asap. Noobs are getting attracted to AC but from my observations, most of their questions (which is why they are here in the first place) are not been treated, at least, to their satisfaction by the current community members.

I think one of the problems is the forum structure (well or lack of forum structure, it's more like a twitter board, message board, if that makes sense). A forum structure like Nairaland would be better. There are some tuts I would like to contribute, but it would get buried under other users posts. Having to scroll through a bunch of posts to find mine or find a topic I was contributing to is just a drag. Just my 2c.

Firstly, this is the shout-out box which has been overtaken by us and converted to the discussion board. Due to poor design, the forum for discussion is actually here: https://africoders.com/forums; and it seldom receives any visitors.

It's in need of a total structural overhaul

nice point @Hamis, the problem here is that most people take the shout out box as the main forum. then i was a bit confused too when i joined this forum lately 2017.

but within few hours playing around i was able to see, view and master the whole great worked done here.

i will suggest the forum load as default page and shout out take the place of forum present link. it will really help most to navigate the forum more and increase view and contribution.

@drocksofangelo I see now. I am using freebasics on a laptop using mobile view switcher. It doesn't always load the pages properly. For anyone doing the same here is the link to the forum - https://www.0.freebasics.com/https/fb.africoders.com/forums

I am reading everything o. @0CooL I did not even know that they have approved the freebasics sef. Anyway, an update is getting rolled out pretty much soon to try to address all your concerns. I appreciate all the contributions so far.

The navbar button doesn't work for me on freebasics.
