visual basic 6.0 - it helped me to get started with coding and create nice-looking window-based apps with little efforts. I know them people say that it was an ultra-simple language, yeah, but it had its tough part especially when you start calling C codes via the win 32 API.
I remember creating an app way back that could hack ANY cybercafe timer (without closing the timer), mask all my activities on a system, I can open 10 download windows on your pc and hide everything with the app, and even hide the app itself.

Well, that singular app helped me to get started and migrate to other applications eventually.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I will score visual basic 6.0 10 - because it helped to shape what I am today.
