As programmers, we need concentration as we use our only flow process for programming and nothing else matters when we code. What has been that special way you keep the maximum attention.

I listen to music when there is less concentration required.

And video games soundtrack or music I know not, when there is a need for a very high concentration level.

I also litsen to music for concentration. slightlysmilingslightlysmiling

I find it weird that i can't still concentrate even if the environment is very quiet while coding.

Though when i read, i prefer a quite environment.

Reading novels help me concentrate and focus my thoughts.

Yes, your scenario is kind of weird. If I can have that perfectly silent environment, no music is needed.

I guess it's a silly habit i developed during my university days.

Those days:

    - Once i want to eat, there must be a movie or documentary am watching.

    - I put on earpiece most of the time not to talk to anyone, then code or design something, so they know i'm busy.

I guess the habits stuck. bandage
