Yesterday, I shared how I approached the discovery process. Today, let's talk about what I did with all the information I gathered.
Research is one thing; translating those findings into a clear product direction is another.
At this stage, my goal was to give the Bus App a solid structure and map out how users would interact with it.
Here's what I worked on:
1. User Stories: Identifying what users need to accomplish and why.
2. User Flow Sketches: Exploring possible user journeys with hand-drawn sketches.
3. Digital User Flows: Translating those sketches into structured digital flows based on high-priority user stories.
4. Site Map: Organising the app's content and establishing its information architecture.
5. Wireframes & Low-Fidelity Prototype: Exploring screen layouts and connecting them into an interactive experience.
The focus wasn't on making things beautiful just yet. It was about getting the structure, functionality, and user experience right before moving into visual design.
Because before deciding how a product should look, you need to understand how it should work.
Next up: DAY 3 — THE DEVELOP PHASE. 🎨
This is where we start bringing the experience to life visually. Stay tuned!
