Digital Creative Production
Apply visual hierarchy and composition principles to guide attention toward a communication goal
Digital Creative Production teaches design fundamentals and AI-assisted creative production under human creative direction.
LEARN visual hierarchy, typography, colour systems, brief development, AI ideation without surrendering judgment, asset refinement, compositing, and brand consistency across formats. BUILD a Brief-to-Concept Creative Sprint and an AI-Assisted Brand Campaign System. GROW the QA, accessibility, and licensing awareness to deliver professional campaigns.
This programme focuses on still-campaign and multi-asset brand production. Motion graphics and video editing are supporting electives for later depth — not required to complete this spine. Completing it earns an Africoders Certificate of Completion. It is not vendor tool certification or an employment guarantee.
What you will learn
- Apply visual hierarchy and composition principles to guide attention toward a communication goal
- Select typography appropriately for readability, hierarchy, and communication goals
- Use colour intentionally and consistently, including accessible contrast and meaning beyond colour alone
- Develop a visual concept from a written brief (audience, objectives, constraints, direction)
- Use AI for ideation and alternatives without surrendering creative direction — the prompt is not the design
- Generate and refine visual assets with AI-assisted workflows while iterating toward a brief

Assessment
- Graphic Design & Creative Production with AI checkpoint quiz · pass mark 70%
Prove
Course completion means finishing required lessons , required assignments , the course project , and the course assessment . That grants a certificate of completion — not a professional certification. Optional practice does not block completion.
Builder Passport evidence is awarded for the completed project, not for watching lessons or passing a quiz alone.
