Problem Statement Across Nigeria and Africa, healthcare access remains fragmented, costly, and unequal. Patients face multiple challenges: 1 Limited Healthcare Access — Patients in rural and underserved communities may travel long distances to find hospitals, laboratories, diagnostic centres, pharmacies, or required medical services. 2 Limited Provider & Service Information — Patients often lack reliable information about which facilities offer specific services, whether services or medicines are available, and whether providers are appropriately verified. 3 Poor Price Transparency — Healthcare prices vary across providers, while patients often struggle to compare costs before seeking tests, treatment, or medication. 4 Long Waiting Times & Poor Patient Experience — Uncoordinated appointments, physical visits, and limited service information can contribute to delays and poor customer experiences. 5 Fragmented Health Records — Laboratory results, radiology reports, prescriptions, medications, vital signs, blood group, genotype, and other health information are scattered across hospitals, paper documents, and personal devices. 6 Poor Personal Health Monitoring — Patients lack convenient systems to consistently record and track measurements such as blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, and cholesterol over time. 7 Medication Adherence Challenges — Patients taking regular medications may forget doses or lack a centralized system for managing medication schedules and reminders. 8 Limited Health Guidance — People may be unsure whether a health concern requires self-care information, routine medical attention, diagnostic testing, or urgent care. 9 Disconnected Healthcare Services & Payments — Healthcare discovery, appointments, diagnostics, records, and payments often operate separately, creating a fragmented patient journey.
People often do not know whether the price they are being charged for everyday products is reasonable. Prices can vary between cities, sellers, and locations, making it difficult to compare before buying. NaijaPrice provides a simple way to check and compare community-reported prices.
Millions of small sellers across Africa run their entire business through WhatsApp and Instagram. They answer the same questions every day — "how much?", "is it available?", "do you have this in red?" — and lose buyers to slow replies. Most can't afford a website, and even free tools require technical setup. This template solves that: one HTML file, one Google Sheet, one link. The seller manages products from their phone. Customers browse and order without waiting for a reply. No backend, no fees, no developer needed.
