What is an Africoders Distributor? +
An Africoders Distributor is an independent member who holds an Africoders Distributor Licence and participates in the professional affiliate programme. It is a programme licence from Africoders — not a government or regulatory professional licence, and not employment unless you separately work for Africoders.
How is 20% different from 10% and 15%? +
Ordinary Africoders earn 10% on eligible referred course sales. Published team members earn 15%. Active Distributors earn 20% while their licence is active. When a licence expires, you return to 10% or 15% depending on team status.
How long does the licence last? +
The initial licence duration is 12 months and is configurable. You can renew before or after expiry.
When is the licence activated? +
Only after payment is verified through Africoders billing. Starting checkout alone does not activate 20% commission.
What happens when my licence expires? +
Your account, referral network and past commissions stay. Future eligible sales use your ordinary or team rate. Pending commissions keep the rate they were earned at.
Can I guarantee income? +
No. Earnings depend on eligible referred purchases. Many people will earn nothing if nobody they invite buys an eligible course. Misleading income claims are prohibited.
Do I need to be a team member? +
No. Distributor status is independent of team membership. A team member with an active Distributor licence still earns 20% while the licence is active.
What is prohibited? +
Spam, fake accounts, self-referral, fraudulent purchases, misleading income claims, impersonating Africoders staff, misrepresenting courses, deceptive advertising, harassment and abuse of community spaces.
