How personalized home works

Why your home shows different modules after persona onboarding.
Personalized home
After you choose a persona, authenticated home prioritizes modules for your journey and de-emphasizes surfaces that create noise.
Examples
- Students may see Career Explorer, scholarships, beginner challenges, and learning streaks first
- Professionals may see Passport gaps, opportunities, and collaboration
- Recruiters see hiring and pipeline tools; student-only surfaces stay out of the way
- Founders may see Studio and co-building entry points
What does not change
- Privacy defaults for member feeds
- Recruiter capability rules for hiring features
- Your ability to navigate to Help, settings, and core Passport tools
If home feels wrong
- Confirm you finished persona onboarding
- Update persona if your stage changed
- Ask Aurora: “My home looks wrong for a university student”
- Check Help articles under Career Operating System
- Hard refresh or re-login if modules look stale after an update
Personalization is meant to reduce sprawl — not lock you into a silo. You can still open any public Help article or navigate to core tools from the main menu.
