How the 10-week campaign works
Each week is one submission on Africoders. Read what to do, complete the form, then save before the week closes.
- Week 1 — introduce yourself and lock in one goal with a free learning plan.
- Weeks 2–7 — share progress, resources, feedback, and collaboration.
- Week 8 — bring one qualified new Africoder.
- Weeks 9–10 — demo and showcase what you built or learned.
Each weekly challenge is worth 70 points. Open the week page, read What to do this week, complete the form, and save before the deadline. Staff can join to encourage people, but they do not earn points or awards.

One continuous 10-week journey
Seven stages across ten weeks: Choose → Plan → Learn/Build → Share → Improve → Demo → Showcase. Week 1 establishes your goal. The weekly challenges below are one path through this journey — not ten unrelated contests.
The 10 weeks
Each weekly challenge is 70 points. Together they are one path from choosing a goal to showcasing what you made.
Week 1
Introduce Yourself + Choose Your Goal
Introduce yourself, pick one 10-week goal, and write a simple plan using free resources only.
Week 2
Show Us What You're Building
Share a project and explain the problem, what you made, and what you learned.
Week 3
Builder Pitch
Pitch one African problem you would solve if you had ₦10M and a full developer team.
Week 4
Share a Useful Resource
Recommend one free or low-cost tool, course, article, or video and explain why it helps.
Week 5
Help Us Test Africoders
Try a real Africoders feature and tell us what worked, what confused you, and what to improve.
Week 6
Teach Us in One Minute
Record a short video teaching the community one useful thing you know.
Week 7
Skill Swap
Pair with another Africoder, teach each other something, then share what you learned.
Week 8
Bring One Africoder
Invite someone new to Africoders and help them complete their profile so the referral counts.
Week 9
Demo Day
Demo your project, skill, or learning journey — especially your Week 1 goal if it applies.
Week 10
Portfolio / Finished Project Showcase
Show your final outcome and add it to your Builder Passport if you can.

Join the Launch CampaignPoints, recognition and rewards
Rewards are an incentive for participation and quality contribution — not the reason to join. You can earn up to 1,000 campaign points. Staff judge weekly and final awards; points do not automatically pick monetary winners.
- Profile completion — 50 points
- Social follows (staff verified) — 50 points
- 10 weekly challenges — 700 points (70 each, including Week 8 after one qualified invite)
- Website engagement (staff verified) — 50 points
- Social engagement (staff verified) — 50 points
- Three qualified referrals — 100 points (separate from the Week 8 challenge)
Weekly recognition pool: ₦20,000 × 10 weeks. Final awards: Best Learner ₦50,000 and Best Builder ₦50,000.
