It’s possible to be highly skilled and still be stuck when it comes to monetizing your skill.

It’s possible to be highly skilled and still be stuck when it comes to monetizing your skill. I was stuck at this for a while until I discovered something that completely changed how I looked at it. Being very good at what you do does not automatically mean that people will find you, trust you, or pay you for it. You can have the skills, create great work, and still wonder why the opportunities aren’t coming. Here’s why: it’s not enough to be skilled; you also have to be visible. The people who can potentially hire you need to know that you exist and, more importantly, they need to see what you’re capable of. This is where showing up consistently becomes important. Document your journey on social media. Share what you’re learning, the projects you’re working on, your process, the problems you’re solving, and even some of the lessons you’re picking up along the way. And while you’re doing that, build your portfolio. Don’t wait until you have “big enough” clients or the perfect project before you start showcasing your work. Let people see your growth and what you can do. Because the next opportunity might not come from someone you already know. It might come from the next person who sees your post. If you’re struggling with getting your skills in front of the right people, this video is worth watching. It helped me think differently about personal branding, visibility, and putting your work out there. 👇 https://youtu.be/F3vIOSloiuk?si=bkFmhFJzfRrlCVx4
