Your code works. Please don't touch it. 😉

Your code works. Please don't touch it. 😉 Every developer knows that feeling. You've finally fixed the bug, the app is running, and suddenly you have the urge to “clean up” a few things. Next thing you know, three new bugs have entered the chat. Here's a useful habit: use Git to save your progress before making big changes. If you're using Git, run: "git add ." "git commit -m "Working version before refactoring"" Now you have a checkpoint you can return to if things go sideways. And if you're not using Git yet, this is a good time to learn it. Version control helps you track changes, experiment safely, and work with other developers without losing your mind. At Africoders, we're all about learning skills you can actually use. So the next time your code works, celebrate first. Then commit. 😁 Have you ever broken something that was working perfectly because you decided to improve it? Tell us your story.
