The cartoon birthday video is really getting interesting here… 🥂

So... remember that cartoon birthday video I mentioned earlier today? Yeah. It has officially gotten out of hand. 😂 I started with: > “Let me just make a short birthday animation.” Now I’m planning scenes, characters, dialogue, camera movements, transitions, music and continuity. 😂 I’ve created character references for Charis and the family, and I’m building the different cartoon worlds separately to keep the characters consistent throughout the film. But it’s really getting interesting here… I decided to generate a short scene using some of the characters I crafted`, just to see what would come out. And honestly… WOW. 🤯 Seeing the characters actually come alive in a scene after all the planning was amazing. It wasn’t perfect though 😂 — the AI got the pronunciation of the name wrong, but I’ll work on that later. The funny part is, I’m approaching this almost like I’m directing an actual animated movie: Scene → Shot → Character → Camera → Dialogue → Transition. And I’m learning a lot from the process. AI can generate the visuals, but someone still has to think through the story. That’s probably my biggest lesson so far. I’m not just prompting anymore.
