Project update 10 hours ago

I finally shipped the MVP of Storyloom.

I finally shipped the MVP of Storyloom. After countless iterations, debugging, and a lot of late-night work, I can finally say: **Storyloom is shipped.** It’s a full **CRUD system** — from creating and managing content to updating and deleting it. But beyond the features, getting it from an idea to something I could actually ship was the real challenge. And then came the fun part. I discovered the [AfriCoders Launch Week 2 Challenge](https://africoders.com/challenges/launch-week-2-show-what-youre-building?utm_source=chatgpt.com#participate) and used the challenge link to generate a **6-slide carousel** showcasing the project. I also spent almost the **entire night fine-tuning the draft, spacing, typography, and alignment** until the carousel felt right. 😅 One thing this project reminded me: > **You only make progress when you share your work.** Building in silence can feel productive, but shipping puts your work in the real world. So this is me choosing to **build, ship, learn, and share.** **Storyloom MVP — shipped.** 🚢 Now, on to the next iteration, 🔥 but i need to catch some sleep first.

I burned $450+ API token in my 16hrs of deep work😫

I burned $450+ API token in my 16hrs of deep work😫 With all prompt caching and clearing, i could not stop that... Thank God for Agentrouter I cant imagine that been real money,😅 use the link below for free Claude code and coworker https://agentrouter.org/register?aff=iGW3 Don't mention... i don give you update like that Well, i made some solid progress on my Storyloom (AI powered content generator)... i built the functioning MVP and i also shipped alot of features for the Conference-Reg app i mentioned yesterday— i built the allocation engine, rooms management, allocation preview, meal sessions, and ticket management. Tests are passing ✅ 🚀 What I shipped: Deterministic Allocation Engine — reliably allocates rooms while respecting pinned assignments and room constraints. Rooms CRUD — admins can now create, edit, and delete rooms directly from the admin dashboard. Allocation UI — preview allocations, choose allocation mode (mix/group), filter by state, pin/unpin assignments, and commit changes to the database. Meal Management — session management plus per-session meal ticket registration and collection. App Wiring & Tests — added routes, updated admin navigation, and got the unit tests passing locally. ✅ Why this matters Admins can now model, preview, and commit room allocations reliably before making changes to the database. I trust you had a restful night. 😅

How My Week's Been Going... 4 Projects, 1 Developer, 0 Sleep

Good day frens 👋 How's your day going? Mine's been bittersweet ngl... currently juggling 3-4 projects at once, i had to shift my sleep schedule to 6am–11am to maintain deep focus at night 😅 Here's what's keeping me busy: 1. My AI-powered content-to-visual generator — i decided to name it "Storyloom". 2. Building a CRUD registration + accommodation allocation system for an upcoming Christian creative conference 3. Cooking up a tech startup idea with a friend — details coming soon 4. Finalizing a WooCommerce store im building for a client It's been beautiful chaos so far, but I'm here for it. What are you up to today? @all @cassandra @agajatrudo @dhtm @abdulfatai. i've not been seeing @ola001 and @walker @paul04 recently... i trust you guys are doing well.

What a good way to end the day

What a good way to end the day I spent many hours fine-tuning my project core features The attached image is before and after fine-tuning... Here's what shipped: **1. WYSIWYG Export** — Preview now matches exactly what downloads. Fonts were loading slower than the screenshot, so exports fired too early. Fixed with a "ready" signal before capture. 20/20 pixel-perfect. **2. Auto-Repair for Bad AI Output** — Vestor now quietly fixes junk AI responses instead of crashing. My first version looked right but caught nothing — now it rebuilds properly from the schema. **3. The Hostile Test Deck** — Built a brutal test case on purpose — max-length text, worst-case input — to find bugs before users do. Caught 6, including one I'd just introduced myself. **4. One Template, Three Styles** — 3 visual styles, one template. Styles are just CSS variables now, so switching is instant and one fix updates all three. **5. Fixed the Schema Import Bug** — Lost hours to a cryptic error — turned out I was loading the wrong version of my validation library. One import path fixed it. To some, those might be small fixes, but they're the difference between "works in the demo" and "works for a real user." Have a good night rest!

Good day frens 👋

Good day frens 👋 Its another day to continue from where we stopped Here are the features I've worked on this week: 1. Pixel-perfect export — what you see in the preview is exactly what downloads. No surprises, no shifted text. 2. Never-crash AI output — when the AI returns junk, it gets quietly cleaned into a usable carousel instead of throwing an error at you. 3. Auto-fit layout — text resizes itself so nothing clips or overflows, whatever length you type. 4. Three visual styles, one template — switch the entire look with one click, instantly, no regenerating. 5. Strict validation — every carousel is checked against hard rules before a single pixel is drawn. I've rendered 20 slides with zero broken. I will break each one down later...

A Moving Man.

A Moving Man. I'm Kingdomvestor— A developer building in public. Right now, I'm currently working on an AI-powered content-to-visual(carosel) generator: text in, polished slides and posters out. Its a whole new domain for me so its uncomfortable in the right way. I don't need to wait until I feel ready. I just start moving — it's okay if the first version is ugly, consistency over perfection always compound results. So, we should all put the flag in the ground and embrace "LEARNING" as a skill and make "SHIPPING" solutions an habit. If you're building something too especially on Africoders or wherever your corner is — let's connect. A moving man doesn't wait for the perfect weather. He just moves. 🍂
