Feedback on Africoders Learn Feature

Feedback on Africoders Learn Feature I spent some time exploring the Learn section, mainly the ‘Building Your First Website’ course… 1. Feature Tested Learn / Academy Specifically: “Building Your First Website” course 2. What Worked Well Clean and modern interface Easy-to-navigate sidebar (weeks + lessons) Clear lesson layout (title, overview, objectives, key concepts, practice) Video player works smoothly when content is available Progress tracking UI is visible Clear navigation buttons (Mark as complete, Previous, Next) Free to enrol and start immediately 3. What Was Confusing / Felt Broken Most lesson videos are not in sync with the curriculum Videos are often long freeCodeCamp videos that don’t match the lesson topic Written content is very thin (mostly outlines and objectives) Lessons lack actual teaching content Practice exercises are too light and optional Course forums locked for free users 4. What I Liked Good course structure (Weeks + Lessons) Written material + video in one place Clean visual map / summary cards Fast and modern platform Africoders AI available for free users and helpful 5. What Should Improve (Suggestions) Provide relevant videos that match the lesson topic and length (or mark as text-only) Strengthen written content so it can stand alone Make practice exercises more guided (templates, checklists, interactive tasks) Open basic course discussion to free learners Make Africoders AI a floating chat button instead of embedded 6. Overall Impression Solid foundation and good design, but content feels incomplete or mismatched. Fixing video relevance, written material, and progress tracking would greatly improve the experience for beginners.
