Still on feedback!
Still on feedback! I’ve noticed that once I spend too long building something, I stop seeing some of the obvious problems with it. In my head everything makes sense because, well, I built it 😂 Then someone uses it for the first time and asks one very simple question that makes me realise I’ve been designing for myself this whole time. I’m learning to show my work earlier now. Slight embarrassment is cheaper than rebuilding everything later.

One underrated part of showing people what I’m building is that they notice things I’ve stopped seeing. I’ve stared at the same screen for five days 😭. A fresh pair of eyes can save you plenty of stress later. Anyway, you know those random work/business calls that come in on WhatsApp, and you have to pick up immediately? Then the call ends, and you’re there trying to remember everything that was said. Yeah. I’m building something for that.
